The People vs. Mona is a love story, murder mystery, courtroom shenanigans, fate-of-a-small-town-hanging-on-the-verdict musical. Mona Mae Katt is accused of murdering her husband on their wedding night. The resulting trial brings out the worst and the funniest of the citizens in the tiny town of Tippo.

Meet the Cast
Steve is thrilled to be fulfilling his childhood dream of one day playing a parking enforcement officer. He is happy to be back on the boards again after quite a rest. Favorite roles include Watson in the three-man Hound of the Baskervilles for Kinetic Arts, Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors and Ellard in The Foreigner. He played Max in Kuni-Leml and the title role in Sabbath Peddler for New Jewish Theatre in St. Louis. Steve has studied improv at Second City, BATS and Berkeley Rep. During the day, he coaches leaders and companies to make work better for all.
Jeffrie is happy to make her Masquers Playhouse debut with this production! Some of her favorite past roles include Mrs. Muller (Doubt: A Parable, Broadway West), Riff-Raff (The Rocky Horror Show, Missouri Street Theatre), Gary Coleman (Avenue Q, Missouri Street Theatre), and Snoopy (You're A Good Man Charlie Brown, Clayton Theatre Company), the latter earning her a Shellie Award nomination for Outstanding Actress (Musical).
