What Women Want
Book and Lyrics by Vicki Siegel
Music by Evan Alparone
directed by Kim Bromley
October 14 – 23
If these times are getting to you and you need a break, step back into King Arthur’s world and come to the fun, upbeat musical What Women Want, lyrics by Vicki Siegel, music by Evan Alparone, directed by Kim Bromley. Based on the Wife of Bath’s story from Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales and the traditional tale Sir Gawain and the Loathly Lady, it tells the story of King Arthur, captured by an evil knight, who has to save himself by finding the answer to the question, “What do women most desire?” Sir Gawain joins in the musical quest presented by a great cast and the tuneful melodies by Evan Alparone – it’s a little bit Spamalot with sword fighting, dancing, lots of women’s opinions and a sweet, revealing ending, that lets us know exactly What Women Want. Family friendly and lots of fun.
